PhD programme in Science, Cognition, and Technology
A new PhD programme in Science, Cognition, and Technology has been launched by the University of Bologna (Italy) in cooperation with the Universities of Exeter (United Kingdom) and Konstanz (Germany).
The programme combines fields like science and technology studies, the history and philosophy of science, logic and the philosophy of language, and cognitive psychology, with an emphasis on “knowledge societies”.
The professors and researchers supporting the programme belong to a wide range of disciplines, including the natural sciences, engineering, medicine, economics, and literature.
Students will be enrolled in one of the three participating universities, and will be encouraged to spend part of their three-year course of study at another participating university. ...More A number of doctoral fellowships have been made available by the University of Bologna and the Fondazione CARISBO.
